I found a property which is a single family home on a 1 acre land. The house is completely towards one end of the rectangle with loads of frontage left,. The property is expensive (at least for me). The disclosure of the property is “following Zone: SRC — Single Residence C. The following notes appear in the listing that Agents have access to:
Check with Town for alternate use of property e.g. child care facility, church, school etc.”
Question: this is an investment property for me. If I buy the property and rent it out ., won’t make sense. The only other way is to see if I can split the land into two halves and sell other piece of land or build something in it which is obviously expensive at about 350$/sq ft. How to know if the property land can be repurposed to sell part of it ?
