I entered contract 3 years ago on a brand new build in a new urban community. The house, after 3 years of waiting, is finally close to completion (there with several delays with the city, permits, and they’re not just building my home but a group).
A lot has changed in 3 years, I now have kids and my husband has to be close to another city for work.
We can’t get out of the contract, so instead, plan to buy and resell. The margins of appreciation vs costs to close and then resell and either break even - or hopefully even make money - are very small.
Considering this is a brand new build that no one has ever lived in before- deciding on an agent vs FSBO listing when we sell. I have found some agents that I liked who are open to 1.5-2% (+ buyer fee). Option 2, I do an FSBO listing.
Any advice?
