Bank of America denied loans because of asbestos

I was notified of this issue less than 72 hours closing. My closing date was this Friday, and they told me yesterday. It is a condo with popcorn ceiling. I believe the management disclosed presence of asbestos in the questionnaire. What can be done? Bank of America said they waiting on an exception from Fannie Mae. I’m so devastated because of this, I had already packed all my items ready to move out & already spent money during the process. The property is a condo. Any ideas or help please.
