Bought A House (rent back to sellers). Their moving pod in driveway

Hi, a coworker in California recently closed on their first home. During negotiations, there were back-and-forth counter offers regarding offering free rent back. However, they did not include a hold-back amount or specify a per-day rent charge beyond the agreed move-out date.

Now, the seller has informed them they will be leaving as promised, but the pickup of their moving pod will be delayed by 3 days. Pod is sitting on driveway.

Is there still time to add an addendum to indemnify my coworker in case any damage occurs to the pod? Additionally, could we add language to charge the seller if the agreed-upon late pickup date for the pod is missed?
