What would yall do?
Selling a house and have a buyer. We are under our option period. They hired a terrible inspector who broke our microwave by hearing nothing I believe in the microwave for 2 minutes, left our gas burner stove on so by the time we got home 6 hours later, the whole house reeked of gas. Our two dogs were home alone!! To add insult to injury, he left pubic hair on our master toilet seat.
We got the buyer addendum for repairs. So in total they want us to replace patio door (didn’t like the doggy door), professional air duct and dryer cleaning, professional home and carpet cleaning, professional landscaping 3 days prior to closing, replace all chandeliers to original recessed lighting, and copies of receipts of professional work done, make repairs of all leaning fence planks (on neighbors side so we can’t actually do the repairs), tighten hinges in master closet door and clothes rod. These are just some of the main demands.
We’re so fed up with this buyer! Are these normal requests for sellers to pay for professional cleaning? I thought it’s normal to be broom cleaned.
