First time homebuyer supporting a family. We have felt rushed during this whole process and found a good place that just hit the market. Made offer quickly and it got countered. Was really tired and just said sure and we’re under contract. It’s going to be pretty tight budget wise with only around 1900 left over after every need is met.
I want out. Contract only a few days old, haven’t gotten inspection yet. But honestly I don’t care. I just want out. The house is good, neighborhood good, etc. technically we can “afford” it but it looks scary to me. Call it cold feet, call it coming to my senses. But I’m willing to give them our EM and maybe like 2-3k more just to no sue us. I really can’t let us get sued but also am really not wanting to finish the deal. It’s irresponsible of me I know but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
