DOT is changing highways exits and when should I sell

The state DOT is changing the way to enter our town. Right now there is three ways to enter and exit our town. Two of those ways is the main street in our town. This road has most of the businesses in our town. The DOT is wanting to change the highway entrance and exit to one road. This exit is not going to be this main road or the third exit. They want the main road into townto be my street. Currently the road live on is a dead end street. They want to build the exit from the highway down a street that is nothing but houses. The Project is to be completed by 2030. My wife is concerned that that property values are going to sink so we should sell as soon as we can. I can see that but I also think values could increase because businesses will want to buy up the houses to be on the new main road into town. Our town population is less than 3000.
