So my husband and I are starting to look into buying our first home. Neither of us are previous homeowners, and we have been recently looking into new construction homes. We are not people who are into DIY or remodeling, we are just not very handy in that sense, so the less we need to remodel in a home, the better.
One of the new homes we looked at, is beautiful on the inside but has almost no yard. Just a little strip of grass on the side. Maybe like 5 feet wide and the length is about the size of the home. We are really considering this home, but we feel we might regret it in the long run.
We have a small breed dog, so a little yard would be great for him, but we will also be living 5 min from a dog park, and a lot of nice walkways throughout the neighborhood. We also live in a state that rains 9 months out of the year, so we rarely get to spend time outside. In my eyes I don't see a downside, but I want to know if anyone has experienced any regrets or if anyone thinks what a downside would be?
