Hi - first time homebuyer here. Well….soon to be. I’m thinking about putting an offer down on a home after the first day of showings. Is that nuts? Should I wait to see a bunch more before starting to consider actually moving in on one? I’m rational and methodical and wouldn’t move forward on an offer if I wasn’t super confident about the finances and all that. But I’m also decisive and follow my gut and have a “why not?” disposition towards decision making for the most part. I just figured I’d throw this out to the crowd because if that’s a wild approach to take on a purchase this big or shortsighted and unnecessarily compulsive / risky I want someone to check me out
