Hey everyone, I inherited a house that was going into foreclosure. I went into probate, received administration of estate, put the house on market and closed on the house 1 day before foreclosure date. The wired money to mortgage company was sent an hour before the first foreclosure offer, but was rejected? The closing paperwork was signed by myself the seller and the buyer the day before foreclosure auction. I have personal attorneys and real estate attorneys from my realtor figuring this out.
Just seems odd that a foreclosure would override a closing contract that was done before, and was rejected.
Any similar occurrences or insight?
Thank you everyone.
