Full digital? or still use physical paper?

hey guys i’m starting either a Law or English literature degree in September and am curious if i should make all my notes on a laptop or use a laptop when needed and use my notepad for notes. what would be better? Also what should i use to make notes on a laptop, i was thinking notion but notion is a bit confusing for me ngl and idk if it can be easily converted to PDF or sent on emails (might be a stupid thing to wonder but i have no experience in technology besides my phone lol) thank you!
