Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are looking to purchase our first home in the Inland Empire, Southern California. We don’t know much of the process and don’t want to get taken advantage of by sellers. We found a new build home we like and have already been pre-qualified for it through their lender. Would it be worth it to work with a realtor to go through the process? I was thinking it’d be nice to have someone advocating for us and keeping us on track with things, but I also heard that real estate laws will be changing soon and the house won’t be ready until December. If we start the loan process now, would the realtor still receive their commission from the seller? Or would we have to pay? I apologize if my understanding is wrong, still so new to all this and it’s overwhelming
