Home inspection on 1967 home

In escrow on a beautiful 1967 home that has been remodeled a few times and looks great however I want to due my best to get the best inspection

I called a local inspector that my real estate agent recommended he charges $765 for home inspection that includes (home inspection, pool, and all additional structure on the property). He won’t do mold testing unless he feels it is necessary (thoughts on this).

I called my own termite inspector and this house has a septic tank so called another person for this.

Question is:

1. 
   This inspector seems trustworthy and reliable. Is there anything else I should consider before going with him? Other quotes from a larger company was 2k for home inspection, pool, mold etc.
   
   
2. 
   What other inspections am I missing that you recommend?
