So I modeled my consult script after Saria Finkelstein's video on YouTube. When I tried roleplaying with my coach, he interrupted me less than four sentences in saying that I'm talking too much. Instead, he says 90% of the conversation in the consult should come from the prospect. Yes, I understand I need to learn the buyer's needs/wants (I have a whole survey portion of the consult devoted to this), but how am I supposed to explain the homebuying process or what the homebuyer should expect without talking too much? Is there some sort of Socratic questioning system where I can engage them while summarizing the homebuying process?
