Serious question! I see so many New Yorkers moving into homes in NJ. They’re paying thousands over asking and sometimes cash. Also, after closing on a home they spend months (and more money) fixing the homes up before they move in.
My question is, how is this possible? How much more do New Yorkers make compared to people in NJ? Are most buyers professionals with CEO jobs?
Homes in NJ are very expensive, but they’re also usually small homes. So I don’t understand why anyone would spend so much on a basic small house.
It just all seems very strange, if you have more information on any of this I’d appreciate reading it!
