Am trying to move and have listed the house I bought last year with a new agent.
For now, we are doing an office exclusive listing, but will list on the MLS if that doesn’t work. Agent works for a large brokerage with multiple offices in our city. She seems to think based on its price, condition (updated/move-in ready) and prime location, it will sell quickly and listing on the MLS won’t even be needed. There have been several showings since it was listed six days ago, including one yesterday afternoon, but no offers yet. She said yesterday’s showing “went well” and she would keep me posted.
In your experience as RE professionals, how quickly do you typically see an offer come in if a showing goes well and a buyer is interested? Do they typically take a few days to think it over before making an offer?
