Ok…
Went under contract for a house in February that had some alarming issues (water/mold in one of the walls) that popped up during inspections. Seller would not agree to repairs, so we backed out because it was top of our budget and we didn’t want to knowingly walk into a money pit.
Now, 4 months later, the house is still listed, but for 50k cheaper. We would be interested at this price…
Would the sellers just be pissed that we circled back and say no? Or could we explain that at this price, it makes sense for us since now we can afford the repairs?
We’re even working with a different realtor now. Not sure if that helps.
