My mom and I have been looking for houses for a while, but we're having a hard time competing. Our offers are definitely good, and we've stated in the paperwork the inspection is only in case there's something so horrific we'd have to determine we were in over our heads and let go.
But despite knowing we won't nitpick for inspection, our offers keep getting dismissed for lesser offers with waived inspections.
I want to understand why. It just doesn't seem like a good deal to pass up more money unless they're all hiding something huge which seems unlikely.
