Inspections and Condo/Hi-Rise Inspection History

Does anyone have tips on how in depth inspection of condos can be (typical scope)? Also how can I look into the history of inspections and repairs for a hi-rise condo? I'm looking at a condo in a hi-rise building in downtown Austin and would love some input on do's and don'ts.
