ipad air 5 (256 gb) vs ipad air 6 (128 gb) for college?

I’m an incoming psychology student and i’m torn between getting memory or specs. Ipad air 5 and 6 has not much difference apart from its chip and camera placement which is exactly why i’m debating whether getting the latest one would be worth it or an overkill or maybe 128gb is not enough. The 256 gb version of ipad air 6 in my country is too expensive.

• i plan on using it all throughout college (4 years)
  
• for note taking and pdfs/ebooks
• i have a gaming laptop where i also edit for my work but it is too heavy to bring around so i will also be editing light videos and photos (canva/capcut) on the ipad
• i will also be using it for my zoom calls. i wonder if theres a substantial difference given their camera placements.

Note: this is my very first ipad
