So i saw a house with septic tank and I want to convert it into public sewer. Township told me I will need an easement from the neighbor because the sewer line will go through under their yard. Township also told me the neighbor did the same when they convert into public sewer.
It’s my first time dealing with this. Is this kind of easement difficult to get? Should I ask the current home owner to reduce price on the property so I can take care of it?
The property is nice and well priced. But the septic tank is more than 20 years old and I believe eventually I’ll convert it into public sewer.
