Apologies in advance because I know nothing about this, wasn't taught anything about money as a kid and 1st time homebuyer. I just looked at a habitat-built house in an "up and coming" neighborhood. It's listed by the owner and not by habitat, at $40k below appraisal value. There are neighboring houses being built at 2-3x the listing price. Since it was built by habitat, there are deed restrictions. Habitat has right of first refusal and no rental income allowed. Would this be a good move?
