When I sold my dad's house after he died in Texas the agent deal with probate stuff so he was helpful but later I realized the person who bought the house used an agent from the same office. I feel like they did this to get the full commission. I am glad the house sold and he was helpful but it does seem like he steered potential buyers... the same agent didn't like to use zillow or realtor .com so he was pretty much just showing it to people using an agent at his office which could have been himself?!?
The same guy said he'd refer me when I am ready to buy but so far has not been doing that when I asked. I get the impression he wants nothing to do with me and that could be due to the unethical practices w/ selling my dad's house I guess.
