We are currently under contract for a house. Our realtor sent the loan officer form 35R , which mentions things found during inspection and also told loan officer about a $5k credit for repairs.
Now the lender wants repairs done before closing, but how is that possible since we don't own the house yet and seller has already agreed to repair credit? Is this the realtors fault for mentioning repairs and credits to lender? To me, it sounds like we won't be getting the loan. Does anyone have any advice or has anyone been in the same situation?
