Hello,
In short, because I got stuck abroad during covid and I was unable to come home before the massive price hikes, I am still a first time buyer. When I returned I accepted a position in another state. While there I started looking for a house, started speaking to a realtor and got pre-approved by a lender. I have recently returned home to where I was before the pandemic.
I really liked the lender I was working with. I also prefer some of her strategies and theways she operated. Every time I approach a realtor here in my this area, they always want to push their lenders. Is this normal? Do realtors only work with lenders they partner up with? Because of the toll it takes on credit, I'm trying to avoid getting pre-approved by too many lenders.
