Making Friends in First Year

Hiii people of Reddit! This question probably gets asked a lot, so sorry in advance. I'm a fresh graduate and I'm going to be entering university soon with zero of my friends. I'm a socially anxious person but I really want to use orientation as an opportunity to meet people of similar interests as I'm very interested in my study of choice. Is there any tips for making friends in uni?
