Matthews real estate investment training program

I am going into my senior year of college and I decided to take an internship this summer with Matthews. I noticed some red flags about the way they speak and train us, as well as their culture in the office. As a woman I was initially very nervous to be surrounded by so many men, and my concerns were pretty accurate as it’s basically like working in a frat house. I’ve learned so much about commercial real estate and I’m very grateful. I am just not sure I am willing to work for Matthews. It feels very much like a Ponzi scheme. They dangle money over heads and tell us that we have to work 6 am to 8 pm making 500 cold calls a week to have any success. Then whenever you finally close a deal, you hardly get any of the earnings until you’re a senior. If anybody has any advice on what I should do, I would love to hear it. I know that this isn’t the environment for me. It’s so heavy on drugs and stimulants, and not very professional but with all the knowledge I’ve gained, I think it would be wise to pursue something similar after this. Does anyone have an recommendations for a company with good values that I should look into in the Dallas area?
