I came across an overflowing 5 gallon bucket of motor oil on the property I toured today.
It’s just on the inside of the fenced property line and there’s plenty of oil on the ground around it, spreading out a couple feet.
The property is 5 acres with a small swampy creek downhill and several feet away from the oil (maybe 100’?).
It’s semi-rural and in southern Washington, zoned agricultural, surrounded by farms, on well water. It’s really weird to me that the sellers didn’t even try to clean it up before showing it.
Should we just let this one go even though it’s perfect in a lot of ways for us?
