Wife and I are not happy in our house/neighborhood. The way we see it, we have two options: 1. Move 2. Make some improvements to our liking using our heloc (have 30k available).
Details/Current home: 115k left on mortgage, 3.25% rate 60k balance on heloc West Michigan area Current home expected to sell for ~275k, maybe more?
I’m leaning towards moving but am concerned about the market, financing, trying to sell and buy at the same time, etc…. But also don’t really want to more money into a house we don’t like. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
