I knew the house was purchased, and they left it empty but I always thought they would renovate and rent it out. Their landscaper came by today and mentioned that these owners have a lot of properties and they only ever communicate via email and none of the properties have any tenants in them. They are all empty beat up looking houses. Why would this be the case? What benefit does owning multiple run down houses provide someone? I thought it was odd and I was curious if there was a racket I’m missing or what the deal could possibly be.
