Ok maybe I have a stupid question but I’ve been seeing it more and more recently as I’ve been looking for a new industrial spot for my business. Why do land lords prefer no rent over lower rent to get a tenant?
There’s buildings that have been vacant for months and years that are asking “normal rates” yet stay empty. Why do these landlords prefer to have no tenants and loose money than lower it to fill the space and “guarantee” income?
To me it almost seems like an idiotic cult that thinks I’m not wrong, you’re wrong and rather loose tens of thousands of dollars than submit to supply and demand. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe I’m wrong. Idk.
