Online presence and controversy

I have been on the Internet since I was in my early teens, and so I am constantly online, and as a result I've realised so much of my presence is very weird, controversial and probably not very acceptable.

How can I clean up my social media presence and put preventative measures so that my University may not find my social media's or anything I have uploaded and do not remove me from my course?

I did use a different email for university than I use for my social media but still I feel unsure.

Arguing over religion, arguing with strangers and just in general being really weird are all things I would like to erase before I am in university

Any tips?
