I was looking for a home in GA and found one that fit most of my criteria. It had been on the market for 6 months with no fallen-through deals. I told my REA to put in an offer for 460k cash. Price was 500k
She later told me that she requested the disclosure, but the listing agent "accidentally" sent her the contract for another offer at 470k loan on June 14. The listing agent claimed he didn't know what was going on and said his assistant probably sent it by mistake, saying he'll send the disclosure later. We never received the disclosure.
My REA said the contingency was supposed to last one week. However, the listing agent ghosted her and wouldn't respond to call or text at all. The house has remained listed as Active the entire time, and it's been 10 days since the supposed contract.
I think something is going on with the listing staying active despite being under contract and the listing agent "accidentally" sending us the other contract. Should I report him to the state?
