I bought a house in February. When we moved in most of the basement was unfinished but there were walls that had just been built dry walled and spray painted black in certain areas of the basement that blocked off view to the foundation walls. These walls didn't serve any structural purpose and I didn't think anything of it. Later we had flooding in our basement so I had to take the walls down to see where the problem was coming from after taking them down I found the walls are severely bowed and several inches off the footing in many locations. Dirt from the outside is coming through and water comes out easily when it rains. It's so bad anyone could look at it and say that dosent look safe.

But with the seller being a real estate agent as well he should have known he is required to disclose defects about the home. And as being a contractor upon seeing the crack he should have known this is a big foundation problem. But instead they just threw up a wall to cover/ hide the foundation completely from view. Any ideas on what I should do in this situation?
