Good evening,
Anyone in the SE Michigan area familiar with realtors who don't blindly use P6F4?
If anyone has a lead on a selling agent who doesn't use this and is willing to DM, I'd appreciate it.
Quote from a potential listing agent:
"Most brokers in Ann Arbor set the commission at P6F4%, which means you'd pay 6% of the sale of the house up to $300k and then anything beyond $300k would be paid at 4%. So, if your property sold for $450k, you would pay a total commission of $24,000 (6% of $300k = $18k + 4% of the remaining $150k = $6k) -- half would go to (selling agent) and half would go to the Buyer's agent's Broker."
Seems like despite the ruling the local market is still heavily colluding to maintain a high commission percentage.
