Hi all -
My sister and I inherited my dad’s house after he passed two years ago. I’ve been staying in this house and trying to do some repairs but it seems like there’s some foundation issues and it needs a new roof for sure. I’m not sure the extent of what all needs to be fixed but I feel overwhelmed and I’m considering selling the house, despite it being my childhood home. I don’t want to, but I’m afraid the cost to fix all these issues is more than I have.
How would I go about selling a house that needs so much in repair? I know that it wont sell for the cost that other houses on my street have sold for but I’m not sure if I need a special realtor or what?
