Not sure how to address this. First time home buyer.
We are closing on a home tomorrow and the sellers left their large swing set on the property. In our P&S, it says the sellers will remove all trash, debris, and items from various areas including the yard where the swing set is. It was never explicitly mentioned anywhere.
We don’t have a use for it, and asked the listing agent who told us that the sellers are giving it to us as a gift. I appreciate the thought… but we have no use for it and it’s more of an inconvenience than a gift. We asked if they can schedule time to remove it but are closing tomorrow and have not heard back.
We don’t want to walk away over it but ideally we’d like it removed but there won’t be time prior to tomorrow’s close.
I am curious if anyone has dealt with something similar and how you navigated it if so?
