Tax auction question

There was some land adjacent to mine that went to auction by the county because of unpaid property taxes. My question is what happens to other liens on the property? The property tax lien was actually the lowest amount of the liens on this property. There was also an IRS lien and a trust lien. Do the IRS and trust liens simply go away since the auction is by the county?
