What do I say?

I am a 17yr high school senior who dual enrolls with a university I am able to earn 60 college credits. With this dual enrollment i am on a college campus and I take college classes. I graduated recently , but I am given the choice to leave high school and go to college or stay an extra year and finish more college course if I want(they are free who would say no). I plan to go to the university I am dual enrolling with so its a win win. So I am in this weird middle ground we’re I am a high schooler but I already graduate so I am basically a freshman at the Uni I dual enroll with. When I am in the work environment I am always asked are you a student and I usually say yeah I am a freshman in college. Would I be wrong for saying this? I don’t feel like explaining my situation to every person I come across it’s a bit tedious. Any thoughts?
