What work experience to do for law?

I’m 16 in my last year of CCEA GCSE living in the North of Ireland and would like to do corporate law in the future. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but what kind of work experience would look good on my application? Volunteering at a solicitors? And do I need to do English if I’m planning to do history and business both at A-Level
