Hello guys. I (20f) am in pharmacy school. I just did my first semester and haven't started yet the second semester. I never really knew what to do in life so I chose a degree that required high grades since I had the grades. I told myself that I could change to something requiring less higher grades easier if I didn't like it. The problems now is that I'm not sure if I like it. I don't know if it's because I don't like my degree or if it's because I simply don't like university life. I find it pretty boring. I tried to make friends, but no success yet.
Everybody that I talk to in my degree seems to have wanting to go in pharmacy school since they were young. I feel like an imposter. I chose this degree since it was the "less worst" at the time in my head. Also, now I would feel bad to change to another degree since I would have wasted my parents money on pharmacy for a year. And also, if I stay and later realize that I don't like it, I would waste even more money Hell, if I change, I wouldn't even know where to go.
When did you know you liked your degree? Was it always clear for you? Do someone else related to my post? What did you do?
PS: Sorry if there's any mistake, English isn't my main language.
