Why do Realtors suck at flips?

In my area I see so many homes bought for cheap, flipped or upgraded and then marked up 200-300k from the original purchase price. Yet, they put in the cheapest materials and call it “like new” - hahaha for real the original was probably better than the cheap LVP from Lowe’s you put in yourself AND half the materials you probably got off the discount shelf because they don’t match. What I’m getting at is there is ZERO VALUE here. I get it “well if you can do it better then why don’t you do it yourself”. My point is this is why Realtors give themselves a bad name. Many can do simple elementary level math, but they don’t truly understand value. If you’re going to flip at least spend a tiny bit more and make it quality - matching colors and decor is a good place to start
