Would a university look at my grade 11 marks if I have completed grade 12?

I'm planning on taking a 1-2 year break after high school just to get a bit of breathing room, so I haven't applied to any universities yet even though I'm in grade 12. For the main point though, my grade 11 marks are significantly worse than my grade 12 marks because I was lacking any and all motivation to do anything last year. I was wondering if a university will take a look at my bad grades, such as Math 20-1, even if I do significantly better in Math 30-1
