Note: the offer was never officially submitted to the sellers agent with those changes, just sent to us for review and we noticed the changes.
Would you fire your agent if they changed your offer from what you asked for to what they thought would get you the house? They didn’t officially submit the offer but sent it to you to review. And then when you pushed back on their changes, they got argumentative with you?
First time homebuyers here, so we aren’t sure if we are overreacting and this is the industry norm. It just rubbed us the wrong way. Again, never officially submitted to the sellers agent but still not what we asked for. There’s other little things that have happened as well regarding communication but these were the things that really bothered us.
